Quay street is Galway's Latin Quarter with a huge choice of pubs with and without music, cafes, casual and fine dining. The street has a great ambiance and is lively and full of craic by day and by night. Quay Street leads onto Shop Street, the heart of Galway City Centre and a short stroll from Crookhaven B&B.
Three miles of scenic walking, the prom is very popular with locals and visitors alike. There are many sandy beaches and a number of diving platforms athe the end of the prom. You can also watch the sun go down on Galway Bay - and it's all only a short stroll from Crookhaven B&B.
Salthill Villiage is a tourist destination all year round and provides an excellent couterpoint to Galway City Centre. In recent years, Salthill was a focal point for the 2009 Volvo Ocean Race, as well as the more recent Round-Ireland Powerboat race in 2010.
